Please mark your gift as "Scholarships."

Jesus and the Sign of His Return (Matthew 24 and 25) - led by Gene Ward in the Music Suite.

Women's Study REBUILD: A Study in Nehemiah - This study of Nehemiah helps us understand our history as believers in Jesus Christ. It helps us learn to walk in faith according to God's Word, even in times of weakness and rebuilding. Eight lessons draw us into the text, giving background and asking questions that lead us to make fruitful and personal observations.

Through this study by Kathleen Nielsen we peer into the dramatic story of God's people sustained by God's Word, at a crucial point in salvation history.

We are planning to organize a casual golf league at ERBC on Thursday or Friday mornings this summer. There will be no set teams, no prizes and no commitment to play every week. We will simply get together for fun and fellowship on a golf course. We will schedule tee times for whoever wants to participate each week at one of several local courses. KAIROS Prison Ministry is an ecumenical Christian ministry designed for use in state and federal men's and women's correctional institutions in the United States and throughout the world.

The purpose of KAIROS is to establish a strong Christian community among the residents of correctional institutions. This is done by the presentation of a 3-day short course in Christianity. It is presented by an interdenominational team of about 55 persons for a group of 42 residents. The chaplain carefully selects the inmates from the prison population. The ideal recruits are those residents who are presently the leaders in the institution. There, they become Christ's agents for change in their environment that ultimately can bring about change in the attitude and quality of life for the entire institution.

The primary goal of the KAIROS ministry is to teach those who attend the weekend to become part of a share and prayer group. This allows them to share their lives on deep spiritual level and pray for one-another.

The South Carolina KAIROS website gives much more information, and Ed Chandler will be glad to talk to you further about how you can be involved. Please contact Ed at (864) 244-9153. You can also see a recent Post and Courier article on how KAIROS makes such a difference in men's lives!

The South Carolina Heart Gallery is a photo exhibit displayed in the main hallway that features adoptable children from the SC foster care system. Local photographers donate their time and services to photograph the waiting children. The Heart Gallery basically puts a face on the need by letting people see these children's faces in the photos.  The goal is to raise awareness of the need for adoptive families and to hopefully find homes for these kids by letting their personalities shine through the pictures.
