There will be a Called Church Conference Wednesday, June 28 at 6:00 p.m. The purpose will be to present a candidate for the position of Pastor of Administration and Education. We will postpone Community Group meetings for that night to the following week, which will cause the last Community Group meeting for the summer to be August 9 rather than August 2.

Summer Community Groups are a great place to make new friends, go deeper in your walk with the Lord and further connect with ERBC members. Groups will meet through August 9 but will not meet June 28 or July 5. If you have any questions, you can email Abi Elrod. Continue to pray for another great summer!

For all who have already signed up, we look forward to the day trip this Thursday, June 29 to the Music by the Lake Concert at Furman University. The bus will leave the church at 6:15 p.m. returning around 8:30 p.m. The Greenville Chorale and Lakeside Concert Band will present "Let Freedom Ring - A Patriotic Celebration." Bring a folding chair.

If transportation is a problem for any reason, contact Pat Billings in the church office at 864-244-2975, ext. 125 to arrange transportation. Lack of transportation should not prevent you from attending.

The WMU (Women's Missionary Union) Missionary Focus Group will not meet in July. Contact Jane Gregory for more information at 884-6947.

We welcome our new members Dillon and Olivia Medlin (Sorrells/Swartzel Class) by Letter.

In addition to interactions with friends and up to date information, did you know you can give online through The City? If you are not on The City, contact Communications/IT Director Barry Brown at 244-2975, ext. 112 or by email.

Looking for ways to serve in your community and beyond? Take a look at the announcements below and contact Abi by email.

Please be praying for Greg and Cathy Gratz as they minister to the Alaskan people through GraceWorks July 8 - August 6. You can pick up a prayer card in the main hallway to remind you to pray for them this summer.

The pray4everyhome.com program is a collaborative prayer effort of many believers to pray for every household - by name. Typically, out of 100 of your closest neighbors, 60 of them do not know Jesus as Savior. To pray for your neighbors by name visit pray4everyhome.com.

Download a Missions Application to fill out in preparation for any trip you would like to make.

All moms and daughters attending the Mother/Daughter Retreat August 18-19 need to turn in a $25 deposit no later than Sunday, July 2.

There are a number of items that are currently in our Lost and Found section on the credenza next to the Receptionist's Desk in the Main Office. There are clothes, Bibles, glasses, purses and more that need to be claimed.

Please remember to notify the church office at 864-244-2975 of any changes, new addresses, phone numbers, contact information, etc. Notifying us of these changes helps us keep our database current and keeps returned literature postage costs down. Thanks for your help!

We need more volunteers (students and adults - all ages) to help us on Sunday mornings and Wednesday nights with Worship Ministry needs. Join the Media Team and enhance the worship for everyone! Contact Pat Billings at 244-2975, ext. 125 or by email for more information.

For ladies interested in mentoring or having a mentor: please contact Kathy Oliver at 968-0580 or by email or Sandy Cary at 288-3463 or by email for more information on how you can learn from the life experiences of a Godly woman.

KAIROS Prison Ministry is an ecumenical Christian ministry designed for use in state and federal men's and women's correctional institutions in the United States and throughout the world.

The purpose of KAIROS is to establish a strong Christian community among the residents of correctional institutions. This is done by the presentation of a 3-day short course in Christianity. It is presented by an interdenominational team of about 55 persons for a group of 42 residents. The chaplain carefully selects the inmates from the prison population. The ideal recruits are those residents who are presently the leaders in the institution. There, they become Christ's agents for change in their environment that ultimately can bring about change in the attitude and quality of life for the entire institution.

The primary goal of the KAIROS ministry is to teach those who attend the weekend to become part of a share and prayer group. This allows them to share their lives on deep spiritual level and pray for one-another.

The South Carolina KAIROS website gives much more information, and Ed Chandler will be glad to talk to you further about how you can be involved. Please contact Ed at (864) 244-9153. You can also see a recent Post and Courier article on how KAIROS makes such a difference in men's lives!

Be sure to Like the Women's Ministry on Facebook!

You can help other adults improve their reading, writing, math or computer skills, or you can teach English as a second language to people from all over the world. No prior teaching experience is required. For more information, please call 467-3456 or visit www.greenvilleliteracy.org.

For the safety of our Weekday children and our Church Staff, our Receptionist will not be allowing anyone in the building that she does not recognize. She will speak to those outside the door by intercom before letting them into the building. We do not want to offend anyone, but we are implementing these measures to offset any possible dangerous scenarios. Thank you for your understanding!

But Jesus often withdrew to lonely places and prayed.

Luke 5:16

The South Carolina Heart Gallery is a photo exhibit displayed in the main hallway that features adoptable children from the SC foster care system. Local photographers donate their time and services to photograph the waiting children. The Heart Gallery basically puts a face on the need by letting people see these children's faces in the photos.  The goal is to raise awareness of the need for adoptive families and to hopefully find homes for these kids by letting their personalities shine through the pictures.
