Cuba

REMEDIOS, CUBA

Dates: April 13 - 20, 2024

Trip Leaders: Pastor Travis & Pastor David

Missions Partner: Bethany Baptist Church

Number of Team Members: 8

Trip Cost: $600 (includes all travel, lodging, and meals)

Our group will be assisting Bethany Baptist Church with a camp for children. We will stay at the camp (or possibly in Remedios) all week and will help lead music, crafts, games, and Bible stories. We will also be assisting with construction projects at the church and evangelism in the community. Although some basic proficiency in Spanish will be helpful, Bethany Baptist will provide translators for our team, so Spanish fluency is not required. Because of the current conditions in Cuba, team members should prepare for the possibility of power outages, food shortages, and/or cold showers.

Trip participants must:

  • Possess a willingness to engage in gospel conversations and serve in whatever capacity they are able;
  • Be 15 or older;
  • Have a valid U.S. passport;
  • Be in good standing with ERBC (or their home church);
  • Complete a trip application (link below); and
  • Complete a background check through ERBC.

PROVO, UTAH

Dates: June 15 - 21, 2024

Trip Leader: Pastor David

Missions Partner: Mosaic Church

Number of Team Members: 8

Trip Cost: $600

We are returning to Provo, Utah, to work alongside Mosaic Church in the Provo community and in nearby Vineyard. Provo is home to BYU and its 37,000 students, almost all of whom are members of the Mormon (LDS) Church, and only 0.5 percent of Provo's population of 130,000 people are followers of Jesus. We will spend part of our week learning about Provo and about Mormon beliefs, and we will have many opportunities throughout the week to engage in gospel conversations and promote Mosaic Church through canvassing and offering prayer. We will also be working in Vineyard, where Mosaic hopes to plant the first Christian church in that town.

This trip is for anyone who wants to be equipped in sharing their faith and is willing to put what they've learned into practice. Our schedule will involve a lot of walking at high altitude and may not be suitable for those with mobility issues. Please take this into consideration when applying. Trip participants must:

  • Possess a willingness to engage in gospel conversations;
  • Be 18 or older;
  • Be in good standing with ERBC (or their home church);
  • Complete a trip application (link below); and
  • Complete a background check through ERBC.
